Can hotels discriminate by age?

Hotels themselves establish minimum age requirements and not a state mandated law. At my resort, the minimum age requirement per room was 25 years old. Cicerone, I’m interested in the law of this. I’ve taken a couple of workshops on this and never has it come up that a hotel cannot discriminate by age.
