Answer : Factories should not be constructed near residential areas because factories could be one of the sources of the noise, or air pollution. Excessive noise might cause health problems, including heart disease, ear impairment, etc.

Why should factories be away from the residential area?

In order to produce that product factories releases a large amount of harmful products as waste. In mines too this happens which is harmful for common living, this we should built factories and mines away from residential area.
