Can Jesus forgive sins?

Only Jesus can forgive sins. God sent him to be the perfect “propitiation” for the sins of the whole world (1 John 2:2/4:10) “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace” (Ephesians 1:7). “The blood of Jesus cleanseth us from all sin” (1 John 1:7).
