Admission to MIT University has no correlation with IIT exam. Both have different entrance exam and level of preparation is different . With persistent efforts and practice and good coaching you can crack both exams.

What rank is required for MIT?

To have the best shot of getting in, you should aim for the 75th percentile, with a 1570 SAT or a 36 ACT. You should also have a 4.17 GPA or higher. If your GPA is lower than this, you need to compensate with a higher SAT/ACT score.
