Can you get into MIT without a high school diploma?

MIT doesn’t have any age requirements and doesn’t require high school completion to apply. Each year we receive a small number of applications from younger students who have outgrown their high school curriculum and feel ready for university study.

Can you go to MIT with a GED?

There’s no minimum required GPA, however, competitive applicants typically have a 3.5 GPA or above, and mostly As in math and science courses. Ideal preparation includes—at the very least—one year each of college-level calculus and calculus-based physics.
