AMD and Intel both will heat up, if you run high graphic games, HD videos 1080P, 4k. AMD is the better processor. Animators, graphic designers use it with no problem. Go for high end AMD processor for high end games, if you run high graphic game in medium speed processor, it will heat up normally in any processor.

No there is no any issues with ryzen. Actually AMD improved much more in terms of heating issues. I have experienced it personally that if you play heavy games even on ryzen laptops which are thin it doesn’t heat like old AMD processors they heats like intel processors.
