What are game reflections?

What are game reflections?

Reflections is a real-world adventure game where every action you take has meaningful consequences that radically shape the experience. Each action you take is punctuated by flushing the black and white environment with color, illustrating your progress and providing clues to what your future might hold.

Why are there so many reflections?

A mirror reflects everything in front of it including another mirror. If you place two mirrors at an angle, you increase the number of reflected images you can see. Depending on the angle you choose, you can see a number of unbroken reflections and one or more composite or partial reflections.

Why do we get reflections?

Reflection is when light bounces off an object. If the surface is smooth and shiny, like glass, water or polished metal, the light will reflect at the same angle as it hit the surface. Most of the things we see are because light from a source has reflected off it.

How do mirrors work?

The key factor is a smooth surface, because rough surfaces scatter light instead of reflecting it. When photons — rays of light — coming from an object (your smiling face, for example) strike the smooth surface of a mirror, they bounce back at the same angle. Your eyes see these reflected photons as a mirror image.

Are 2 mirrors infinite?

When two plane mirrors are placed in front of each other, in || the reflections continue to increase. The images formed keep acting as the objects for the other mirror and voilà, you have infinite images.

Is a mirror infinite?

The infinity mirror (also sometimes called an infinite mirror) is a configuration of two or more parallel or nearly parallel mirrors, creating a series of smaller and smaller reflections that appear to recede to infinity. Infinity mirrors are sometimes used as room accents or in works of art.

What are the 3 laws of reflection?

The incident ray, the normal and the reflected ray are all in the same plane. Again the incident ray, the normal line and the reflected ray all lie in the same plane.

Why is reflection and refraction important?

As we continue to advance we build a better understanding of thing around us. Through research we have developed advanced technology that uses light with reflection, refraction or both. For nearer objects, the lens must be moved farther from the light detector so that the image is still focused.

How does screen space reflections work?

Screen Space Reflections (shorten as SSR) effect adds local reflections to the objects pushing forward the realism of scenes. This effect is rendered in screen space, which means reflected can be only objects that are already on the screen (it doesn’t work for offscreen or obscured objects).
